Our Story
Founders Eleanor Sands and Anabel Provansal had been attending MIPIM for several years when, over dinner in summer 2025, they reflected on a familiar paradox: that many of the industry’s most senior figures would gather once a year in the south of France, despite being based just doors apart in London’s West End. That conversation became the catalyst for Wigmore Wednesdays - a simple proposition to create a London setting of comparable calibre and consideration, where those relationships could continue to develop more regularly.
What began as a small, informal gathering at The Wigmore quickly found its rhythm. It grew organically through word of mouth, shaped less by intention than by demand - a response to a clear appetite for more frequent, meaningful connection within UK real estate. Today, Wigmore Wednesdays hosts monthly gatherings at The Wigmore in London, alongside events across the UK and a number of larger flagship occasions, bringing senior figures together more often, in carefully considered settings closer to home.

Having spent time in some of the world’s most iconic venues and experienced exceptional events throughout her career, Eleanor knows what“good” looks like, and more importantly feels like.
She brings that same standard to Wigmore Wednesdays - curating a community where every detail, from people to place, is carefully considered.
Just as importantly, she has a calm presence that makes people feel at ease and genuinely welcome - a principle that underpins every event.
Anabel Provansal
Annabel has a strong ability to bring people together, with a focus on building long term, meaningful relationships.
She brings that intention to Wigmore Wednesdays - ensuring the community continues to grow with care, where every detail, from people to atmosphere, is carefully considered.
In equal measure, she plays a key role in maintaining the quality, balance, and energy that define each event - ensuring the community grows with purpose.
